NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Norwalk police arrest a Newark, New Jersey woman in connection with an elderly abuse investigation.
Norwalk police arrested Lydia Lungile, 40, of Newark, NJ, on Thursday at a location in Orange.
Investigators say she was the aid in charge of an elderly man who was left unattended and fell out of his bed during overnight hours in November of 2023.
Witnesses told detectives, according to police, that Lungile allegedly ignored the victim.
Lungile is charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and cruelty to persons. Her bond is $125,000.
