Newington, Conn./WTIC Radio - Newington police say one of their officers was injured when they were struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening.
It was around 9:30 p.m. when police say they spotted a vehicle that had been failing to stop for officers over the last few days.
Police say the suspect vehicle was observed entering the drive-thru at a Chick-fil-A restaurant on the Berlin Turnpike.
Officers say the driver intentionally drove toward a police officer, hitting that officer before fleeing the scene.
The officer was treated for minor injuries.
The suspect is still being sought, and the incident remains under investigation.
