Hebron, Conn./WTIC Radio - Local police and the State Police Major Crimes Division are looking into the discovery of a noose in a locker room at RHAM High School in Hebron.

The discovery was made on Friday.
In a statement, the Region 8 school superintendent says the school community is disgusted by the discovery, saying "there's no place in the RHAM community for this behavior".
The distict is working with police in the case and offered counseling to students on Saturday.
Counselors will be available during normal school hours, as well.
