NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The North Haven Police Department is hosting a discussion on various online safety issues for young adults.
This session will feature insights from detectives on recent criminal trends involving social media platforms, proactive measures to protect juveniles from online exploitation and grooming, and guidance on recognizing warning signs within specific social media applications.
Attendees will also receive instructional guidance on accessing and navigating these platforms, along with an overview of resources available for parents, guardians, and their children to promote safe online practices.
