NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Norwalk Police say the city's Deputy Republican Registrar of Voters is charged with murder after shooting her tenant Thursday.
Police allege Ellen Wink, 61, fatally shot Kurt Lametta, 54, during a disturbance around noon at 16 Nelson Ave. They say Wink was Lametta's landlord.
Lametta sustained multiple gunshot wounds and the Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Service pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officers located Wink at the scene and immediately detained her.
Wink is held on $1,000,000 bail. She appears in court on Feb. 1.
