HARTFORD, CONN (WTIC Radio)-Hartford officials lauded the reopening the playscape at Cronin Park on Granby Street.
The playscape was destroyed by an arson fire last summer. It cost $360 thousand to replace and the cost was covered totally by insurance.
Two juveniles were arrested for the fire in the Blue Hills section of the city.
Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin said rebuilding the playscape was put on hold because of supply chain delays.
But he said after that was resolved, the playscape was erected quickly, enhanced by outreach from folks in the community wanting to help.
