Hartford, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - One person is dead and another wounded in a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Hartford.
Police were dispatched to the area of 640 Broad Street around 3:30 p.m. as a result of a ShotSpotter activation.
While processing the scene, officers were notified that two victims had arrived at an area hospital.
One of the victims, 18-year-old Ernesto Morales of Manchester, was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say the second victim, a man in his 20s, sustained non life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are leading the investigation.
The killing is the 28 homicide in Hartford this year.
