HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Trinity Health of New England is to host a one-of-a-kind 24-hour vaccination clinic in Hartford next week.
The "Vax-a-Thon" is to open at the Artists Collective on Albany Avenue in Hartford on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 5 p.m. and run through Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 5 p.m.
At least 4,000 first doses of the Phizer vaccine are expected.
“We, at Trinity Health Of New England, havea responsibility make the COVID-19 vaccine as accessible to all members of our local neighborhoods as possible," says Dr. Reginald Eadie, President and C.E.O. of Trinity Health of New England.
Appointments are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted, unlike most vaccine clinics across the state. Appointments can be made by clicking here.
The event is made possible in-part from a generous $50,000 donation from three community partners: Fairview Capital Partners, Inc.; Fairview “ALL IN” Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving; and the JoAnn and James Price Fund for Community Safety at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
