MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police arrest over three dozen people for DUI during their 2025 Memorial Day weekend traffic enforcement.
Troopers arrested 36 drivers for DUI during the enforcement period that lasted from midnight on Friday morning through midnight Monday night.
There were 271 crashes. 26 of those crashes had injuries reported, two of them serious.
Two of the crashes involved fatalities. One of them in Tolland and another one in Waterbury.
Troopers responded to 5,070 calls for service and made 1,347 total traffic stops.
