The record is "With These Hands" by pianist Roger Williams, released in 1959.
Someone cleaning out their parents home found the record and decided to return it.
The library director says they're always happy when overdue books and materioals are returned, although they don't lend record albums anymore.
Library officials say they won't assess a fine for the overdue album.
