STERLING, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police say a pedestrian has injuries after a car hit them early Tuesday afternoon.
Troopers say they responded to the crash at the intersection of Plainfield Pike Sterling and Newport Road around 12:17 p.m.
Carol Davis, 78, from the Oneco section of Sterling, was struck while trying to cross the road.
Troopers say Claudia Rivera, also a Sterling resident, struck Davis while driving a 2011 Ford Explorer XLT.
Davis has life-threatening injuries.
No other information is available at this time.
