Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Waterbury are investigating what they're calling a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian from late Saturday night.
An arrest has now been made in connection with the crash, police said.
Officers say just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday, they received the call to an area Willow Street.
When they arrived, police found a man identified as Christopher Coleman, 34, of Waterbury lying in the road.
He was taken to Waterbury Hospital where he later died.
Police say the offending vehicle fled the scene after striking the victim.
Under arrest is Christine Mcweeney, 57, of Thomaston
She is charged with evading responsibility.
Bond was set at $250,000.
