SOUTHINGTON, CONN(WTIC RADIO)- Police arrested a Bristol teenager on weapon, drugs and other charges after a vehicle stop Saturday afternoon just before three.
Police said the vehicle failed to stop for a red light on West Street and that the driver and passenger were acting suspiciously. Police smelled burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Police retrieved a backpack with a large amount of marijuana. A further search yielded two pounds of packaged marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy pills and a nine millimeter ghost gun with a high capacity magazine.
18-year old Evan Rodriguez was released on bond, scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court March third.
The passenger was a 17 year old juvenile.
