Farmington, Conn./WTIC Radio - An investigation is underway after state police say 11 construction vehicles parked off Interstate 84 westbound were found burned and vandalized.
Troopers were contacted Monday morning by Hammonasset Construction..
The vehicles were parked in the area of exit 39A in a secluded yard off the highway, said state police.
The amount of the damage has been estimated at approximately $1 million.
Investigators say any fire would have been visible from the highway and likely occurred in the overnight hours from Saturday to Sunday.
