Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - It promises to be a busy Sunday in Hartford as thousands will celebrate their Puerto Rican heritage
The 2026 Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival takes place downtown.
The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. from 990 Park Street and heads left on to Main Street.
Following the parade, there is a daylong festival in Bushnell Park.
Police are giving the heads up to expect congestion in the area of the parade and festival.
Several streets will be shut down for most of the day.
