It was snakes alive in New London when a woman took out the trash, and noticed something squirming around in the garbage.
An animal control officer took a look, and found a pair of snake eyes staring her right in the eye.
She pulled out a ball python -- a snake that can grow as long as six feet. It was in terrible shape, emaciated, but still alive.
Also in the garbage can was another ball python -- this one was dead.
Animal control wants to hear from anyone who knows who got rid of the snakes.
