Shala Lovett, a 35-year-old Waterbury woman, faces an arraignment Monday on charges that she stabbed another driver in the face during an altercation on I-84.
State police say it happened near Exit 23, where Lovett was arrested after a trooper noticed her and a man in an physical altercation. As police tell it, the man was then struck in the face by the woman and fell to the ground
with a large cut on his face.
Lovett was placed into handcuffs after police say she resisted arrest and was ordered held on a $200,000 bond.
