Glastonbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Glastonbury police have made a second arrest in connection with a stabbing at a gymnastics competition two weeks ago.

Aminah Weatherington, 40, is charged with conspiracy and risk of injury.

Police say she encouraged Marcus McDaniel, 52, when he allegedly stabbed the victim at The Academy on February 25th.

In addition, detectives say Weatherington did nothing to ensure her nine-year-old child, who witnessed the attack, was not harmed.

In fact, police say, Weatherington and McDaniel fled, leaving the child behind.

She is free on $75,000 bond.

McDaniel is facing attempted murder and other charges.
