A second arrest is made in connection with a cold-case shooting death in New Britain.
It was on the first day of August in 2017 when 32-year-old Gabriel Pereira was fatally shot when he stepped outside while attending a birthday party.
Finally, there was a break last month, when police arrested 30-year-old Michael Coleman on a charge of murder. He is being held on a $5 million bond.
On Thursday, a second arrest was made. Thirty-year-old Jamell Evans also faces murder charges. Evans is being held on a $3 million bond.
