Arrest in Hartford road rage incident that led to shots fired

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police arrest a city man who officers say opened fire during a Thursday night road rage incident.

Police say Lorenzo Dunn, 30, of Hartford, allegedly opened fire on a vehicle during a road rage incident around 8:39 p.m. Thursday in the area of Park and Washington Streets.

Gunfire damage was noted on the victim's vehicle.

Investigators had a description of the vehicle, which led police to Dunn.

Dunn, who was found to be in session of a firearm and narcotics in the vehicle, was taken into custody. Police add that Dunn was also wanted on an active arrest warrant for an assault with a firearm from earlier in the year.

Dunn is charged with first-degree criminal attempt at assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, weapons in a motor vehicle, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
