East Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - The state inspector general's office is investigating after shots were reported fired during an incident involving police in East Hartford on Sunday.
Police responded to a disturbance at 224 Governor Street just before 3:30 p.m.
The police officers involved were taken to an area hospital for evaluation.
There's no word yet on suspects or what led up to the shots being fired.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
