NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - New Haven Police are looking to identify the man suspected of carrying out an alleged sexual assault at a local park.
Police say the man, described as being 5'6''-5'7'' tall and wearing a blue patterned polo shirt, gray dress pants, and tan shoes, allegedly sexually assaulted an individual last Saturday morning at the dog park at Fort Hale Park.
The victim told police the suspect threatened the victim with a box cutter in carrying out what's described as a random assault.
Police have stepped up patrols in that area as they investigate the case.
