STAMFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Stamford Police arrest a man in connection with a fatal motorcycle crash in November.
Police have charged Edin Martinez-Peralta, 21, of Stamford, in connection with a fatal crash between a motorcycle and truck at the intersection of Elm and North State Streets on November 22, 2021. The 17-year-old driving the motorcycle died from his injuries at an area hospital.
Authorities concluded Martinez-Peralta was at fault for the accident by making a left turn in front of the victim, impeding the victim's path of travel. The victim attempted to stop, but was unable to, and collided with the side of the Nissan.
Martinez-Peralta was taken into custody without incident and charged with Negligent Homicide with a Motor Vehicle.
He was held on a $100,000 court set bond.
