BURLINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating the death of a vehicle passenger in Burlington.
It's believed Sophie Ringquist, 17, of Burlington, fell out of a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, while it was moving in the area of Field View Drive in Burlington.
Cooper Ouellette, 18, of Hawinton, was driving the truck when the accident happened.
Ringquist later died at Bristol hospital.
The situation unfolded around 1:24 a.m. Sunday, when Troop L responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident in that area.
State Police say they are investigating the unknown events surrounding the incident.
