Last month, it was the bakery aisle. Now, the attention is on Stew Leonard's deli counter as the grocery chain issues a new set of recall alerts.
The Norwalk headquartered Stew Leonard's revealed Monday that a whole shopping list of products sold between August of 2022 and the end of last month may have been incorrectly labeled. All of the items are chicken salad and closed chicken products that Stew Leonard's says may contain milk with including it on the list of ingredients.
Most of the products were sold at all of Stew Leonard's stores, including, Sliced and Shaved Chicken; Sliced and Shaved Buffalo Chicken,
Chicken Salad, Chicken Salad Sub Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Salad, and Boom Boom Chicken Salad.
Two recalled products -- Cape Cod Chicken Salad and Lite Chicken Salad -- were sold only in Norwalk.
The recalls come two weeks after Stew Leonard's recalled its mislabeled Florentine Cookies after they were linked to a death.
