Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Waterbury police say the suspect in a fatal shooting earlier this year has been extradited back to Connecticut.
Police said Christopher Eason, 36, of Virginia was brought back Friday to face charges in the June 4 fatal shooting of Akeem Campbell, 26.
It was around 5:00 a.m. that day that police were dispatched to the area of North Main and Division Streets on a report of shots fired.
Campbell had been transported to St. Mary's Hospital by the time officers arrived on scene.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Eason faces a number of charges including murder, criminal possession of a firearm and other offenses.
The warrant has a court set bond of $10 milion, police said, and Eason was to be arraigned today.
