Pennsylvania woman faces forgery, larceny charges in Connecticut

SOUTHINGTON, CONN (WTIC RADIO)-A Pennsylvania woman has been arrested for a check fraud investigation in Southington, and she faces charges in several others Connecticut cities.
Police said in Southington, Kaitlyn Miller, 28, was involved in an investigation regarding the TD bank on Queen Street in Southington.

Police said Miller forged a check from a stolen checkbook and used a stolen driver's license from the individual to steal $2,400 from the
victim.

Police also said similar frauds took place in Wilton. Police said she allegedly stole a checkbook to cash $20-thousand in fraudulent checks all over the state.

Police said the Southington investigation was similar to ones where Miller also wrote fraudulent checks in Norwalk, Westport, New Canaan, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Terryville, Newtown, Newington, Bethel, Cromwell, Manchester and West Hartford.

Miller is charged with forgery, larceny, identity theft and criminal impersonation.

She remains in the custody of the  State of Connecticut, Department of Corrections.
