
Westbrook, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Groton man is facing additional charges after state police say he caused a fatal crash last year driving the wrong way on Interstate 95 in Westbrook.
Troy Bree, 58, was originally charged with manslaughter with a motor vehicle, misconduct with a motor vehicle, driving the wrong way on a limited access highway and reckless endangerment.
Bree is now facing additional charges including DUI and reckless driving in that crash last October.
Forty-seven-year-old Mark Palumbo of Madison was killed.
Troopers say Bree was headed south in the northbound lanes of I-95 near exit 65.
Palumbo died at the scene.
Bree's blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police investigators.
His bond was set at $1 million.
