(WTIC Radio) - Bristol Police say they've arrested a 14-year-old juvenile in connection with a threat that appeared on social media Wednesday morning.
Members of the school community were concerned about the post that targeted Bristol Central High School when it appeared and they reported it further.
Bristol Police worked with school resources officers, Board of Education staff, and additional police patrols to secure the school and ensure safety.
They arrested a 14-year-old juvenile in connection with the post.
Due to the age of the suspect, the amount of information that can be shared about the case is legally restricted.
The nature of the post has not been described.
Bristol Police and the Bristol Board of Education say threats against the school system will not be tolerated.
