BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Bloomfield Police are investigating a suspected overdose at Bloomfield High School on Thursday.
Police found a 16-year-old suffering what police call "an apparent" overdose. It's suspected the teen ingested marijuana laced with fentanyl.
The teen was administered "multiple doses" of Narcan to help reverse the side effects of a possible opioid overdose.
The student was subsequently transported to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center for further medical evaluation.
