HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Hartford Police Department is looking for the driver of a Tesla Cybertruck who allegedly collided with another vehicle on Christmas night, killing a teen, before fleeing the scene of the crash.
Police responded to the report around 9:15 p.m. Thursday night of a collision on Cornwall Street between a Tesla Cybertruck and a Toyota Camry.
The four people, who were seriously hurt, inside the Camry had to be removed from the vehicle.
A 14-year-old inside the Camry died at a local hospital.
The other three crash victims - a man in his 50s, a woman in her 20s, and a 3-year-old child - were seriously hurt and have since been stabilized at a local hospital.
The driver of the Cybertruck fled the scene on foot.
