Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - So far, so good is the message from the secretary of the state when it comes to early voting in Connecticut.

Stephanie Thomas says 310-thousand registered voters cast their ballots early when given the opportunity to do so beginning October 21st.

She says the poll workers in particular have been instrumental in the smooth roll out thus fair.

Thomas also says she checks in regularly with both the Connecticut Intelligence Center (CIC)  and the State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) to ensure a safe election process, adding that the main concerns continue to be foreign actors trying to meddle in the process.

Early voting will continue in Connecticut through next Sunday.

Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with expanded hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
