
Bloomfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - Students at the Academy of International Studies in Bloomfield were sent home early today after police were dispatched to investigate a threat.
The police department said it received a message from a computer generated voice that explosive devices were placed in the school and timed to detonate within two hours.
School officials made the call to evacuate, with students and staff relocating to the Foodshare parking lot on Woodland
Avenue.
Police say the all clear was given after no devices were found and the decision to dismiss was made shortly thereafter.
Detectives say the investigation remains active and are asking anyone with any information to give them a call.
