
Hamden, Conn/WTIC Radio - There will be an added police presence at a Hamden synagogue after it was the subject of a bomb threat on Thursday.
Officers responded to Congregation Mishkan Israel on Ridge Road just before 10:00 a.m.
The threat was received by email and the building evacuated, police said.
The New Haven Police Department Hazardous Device Team and Hamden detectives canvassed the area and found no evidence of any explosives.
Police say over the last several months, there has been similar threats made to Jewish facilities across the country.
The FBI Cyber Crimes Task Force is trying to determine the origin of the threat.
