Manchester police say a tip led them to a man accused of threatening to "shoot up" Manchester Community College.
Darius Burke, 27, of Manchester, is charged with breach of peace (2nd degree) and threatening (2nd degree). He posted a $100,000 bond and will be monitored by GPS.
Police say that on May 23, a caller told them that Burke made threats over the phone, saying he would attack the college then kill himself, adding that he wanted to kill a large group of people.
Working the case, police found that Burke had made other threats to harm himself and others. A judge approved an arrest warrant and risk protection order, and Burke was taken into custody on Monday.
Manchester police say Manchester Community College and its police have been notified of Burke's release.
