PLAINFIELD, CONN.(WTIC Radio)-Two Moosup residents face charges for an alleged December child abuse incident, according to Plainfield Police.
Police responded December 30th to a report of an inappropriate video. In it police said Kayla Charlwood, 30, demeaned, threatened, shook and struck a juvenile with other children present. The investigation determined Jason Homand, 35, also of Moosup, recorded the video and failed to intervene. He was also uncooperative with police, failing to inItitially produce the video.
Charlwood was arrested Wednesday charged with two counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor, Third Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment and Disorderly Conduct.
Homan is charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor and Interfering.
Both appear in Danielson Superior Court today.
