Two Bridgeport fires under investigation

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Two fires are under investigation in Bridgeport.

Both of the fires happened Friday evening.

The first one happened at around 6:30 p.m. in the area of Capital Avenue. Within 20 minutes, firefighters had knocked it down. An ambulance evaluated one person. In total, eight adults, three children, and one pet were displaced.

Around 9 p.m., crews responded to a residence in the area of Lincoln Avenue where a fire was reported burning. Crews had it knocked down in about ten minutes.

No injuries were reported but nine adults and one child were displaced.

The Red Cross is assisting those who were displaced.

The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
