MANSFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Two people are being treated for burns after a box truck explosion and fire in Mansfield on Friday night.
Emergency response personnel responded to the area of Conantville Road and Overlook Drive shortly after 9 p.m.
There were multiple explosions involving 20-pound propane cooking tanks.
Investigators think the two people who were burned were living in the truck.
One of the people injured was taken to a burn center in Rhode Island for treatment of second-degree burns, while the other person was taken to a local trauma center.
