Connecticut State Police are investigating two overnight crashes early Saturday morning involving life-threatening injuries.
Troopers say a crash on Route 6 in Chaplin at the four-way intersection with Route 198 around midnight closed the road for hours into Saturday morning. Two vehicles crashed at the curve in the road.
Troopers also responded to a crash on I-91 Southbound between Exits 29 and 27, where a vehicle and a moped crashed.
Life-threatening injuries were reported in both crashes.
There's no word, at this time, what led up to either crash.
