NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - New Haven police say a suspect is dead and two West Haven police officers are recovering from their injuries after they tried to serve a search warrant Wednesday morning.
The incident unfolded when officers from multiple communities attempted to serve that warrant on Grand Street.
The two West Haven officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were treated locally, according to New Haven police.
No other details about the case are available.
The State Office of Inspector General is taking over the investigation.
