NORWALK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - An unmarked Norwalk Police Cruiser struck and killed a city resident Monday evening.
The crash happened around 6:07 p.m. Monday.
It happened on Fairfield Avenue while Norwalk police responded to a call for service.
The pedestrian later died at Norwalk Hospital.
Connecticut State Police are investigating the accident.
The name of the pedestrian hasn't been released.
The Norwalk Police Department says their thoughts and prayers are going out to the family of the deceased.
