CHESTER, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says a man was found dead in the Cockaponset State Forest on Tuesday morning.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the Pattaconk Recreation Area.
The Office of the Chief State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
No identity is being released at this time.
The park has re-opened.
