Newington, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Newington are looking for the suspect who struck a cruiser Tuesday with their vehicle.
Just before 4:30 p.m., officers attempted to stop a white Honda Accord in a Dollar Tree store lot on Cedar Street.
The vehicle in question had committed several violations, say police.
The officer positioned the cruiser in front of the Honda with siren and lights deployed.
That's when they say the driver of the vehicle intentionally hit the cruiser, shifted into reverse, and then struck the cruiser again before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported.
Police are looking for the Honda with a California license plate number of 7JMV266.
