A home health care nurse murdered last month at a Willimantic home is being remembered today.
A vigil for the late Joyce Grayson takes place in the North Lobby of the State Capitol at 3 P.M.
The Brooklyn resident was killed while on duty October 28th making an in-home health care visit.
Her patient is a suspect in the murder.
Grayson was a home health care nurse for 15 years.
Her death has been a rallying point for calls for increased funding and reforms to protect health care providers who make home visits.
Among those scheduled to speak at the vigil is the President and C.E.O of the Connecticut Association for Health Care at Home Tracy Wodatch.
