The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford says 27 year old Elan Ganeles was in Israel to attend a wedding when he was shot and killed Monday evening.
That's when two Palestinian gunman drove up to Ganeles' car and opened fire.
He was rushed to a hospital but later pronounced dead.
Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford President David Waren denounced the killing, saying some still see violence against the innocent as a solution, adding that the Federation is extending its deepest condolences to the Ganeles family.
The Times of Israel reports Ganeles was a recent graduate of Columbia University.
