WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police arrest a Meriden woman in connection with a late November shooting that injured a city man.
Police say their investigation led them to Jessica Towels, 39, of Meriden in connection with the shooting on November 29, 2025, that injured a 39-year-old Waterbury man during an altercation between two small groups of people.
Towels is charged with first-degree criminal attempt at assault, illegal discharge of a firearm, criminal use of a weapon, negligent storage of a firearm, third-degree criminal mischief, first-degree reckless endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance.
Bond is $300,000. Towels is due for arraignment in Waterbury on December 12, 2025.
