
Shelton, Conn./WTIC Radio - Shelton police have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian from earlier this month.
Detectives say Ariela Treysler, 19, of Trumbull is charged.
It was January 6 just after midnight that police were dispatched to an area of Howe Avenue and White Street where a pedestrian was reported lying in the road.
They later identified the female victim as 64-year-old Stephanie Peterson.
She was later pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital.
A warrant was issued for Treysler's arrest.
She now faces charges of evading responsibility, a felony.
Treysler is free on $50,000 bond and is due in court in Derby February 16th.
