
Bridgeport, Conn./WTIC Radio - In Bridgeport, a worker who became trapped in the basement of a home under construction has been rescued.
The worker became trapped in the structure on Stratford Avenue shortly after 9:00 a.m., police said.
He was rescued about three hours later.
Officials say the 35-year-old became trapped when a brick wall collapsed on top of him.
A second collapse occured when crews were trying to rescue him.
The worker sustained non life-threatening injuries to his lower legs.
