It's all set up for a colorful spring and summer at Dunkin' Donuts Park, where the Hartford Yard Goats on Tuesday announced their 2022 promotional schedule.
Spoiler alert: they have a promotion or a theme scheduled for every game.
And, finally, they have lots of games (69) to plan for: the first full AA baseball season since 2019.
"It's been a couple of years since we've been on a normal cycle like this, so it's been a lot of fun planning out, putting a lot of time into these promotions," says Mike Abramson, general manager of the Yard Goats.
Other summer highlights to chew on:
--The Yard Goats play as Los Chivos de Hartford on Apr. 22, Jun. 3, Jul. 29, Aug. 20th and Sept. 8th
--A visit from actor Leslie David Baker, best known as the perpetually annoyed Stanley on NBC's The Office
--They'll wear Captain America jerseys on Jun. 16.
--Christmas in July: Jul. 27
Opening Day is set for April 8 vs. the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Individual game tickets go on sale Friday.
