(Hamden, Conn./WTIC) - Two people are recovering after police say they were shot early this morning in Hamden.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Dixwell Avenue just after midnight on a report of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the chest.
That person was treated at the scene and rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital.
Officers later learned that a 22-year-old man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pulled into the vehicle of a Good Samaritan and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital.
There's no word on the condition of the two victims, suspect or a motive for the shootings.
